Travelodge - Edinburgh Airport (Ratho Station) This hotel is
located on the main A8 (Glasgow Road). The hotel is situated towards the
end of Runway 06, views from the front of the hotel give views of arrivals and
departures, especially if they are using Runway 06 ,odd numbers in the range
301 through to 315 give a very good view of the activity at the airport. These
rooms can be requested for a small fee on the Travelodge website. The third
floor is the top floor. There is a very limited view of the end of terminal but
to see the GA ramp and cargo, I would suggest use of vehicle as it would be a
very long walk. There is a small convenience store a few minutes walk from the
hotel where supplies can be purchased.
