Day spent at the Renaissance Concourse hotel in Atlanta
minus one hour to visit the Delta Flight Museum. Rooms with the balconies
overlook the airfield. Before we went I was told that rooms with a single king
bed are on the highest floors but booked a room with 2 queens and was still
able to get a room on floor 9 of 11. Presumably the king rooms are on floors 10
and 11 with the suites? Anyway, the room was high enough to see movements on
all runways as well as clear the flood lights for pictures of aircraft landing
on runway 8L.
