Rooms on the 4th/5th floor facing the airport give limited views of arrivals to both runways 08L and 08R, however views are better of 08L.
Rooms on the front of the hotel will give views of both runways. The hotel is 15 min walk from the viewing mound and 10 mins to the train station (Good for the two museums in Munich). A free bus from outside the hotel takes you to the terminal. Note if driving book parking in airport long stay P41 as its cheaper especial if based for a few days.
Photography from room not great, however the viewing mound offers good opportunities.
