I had booked 2 nights at the Westin Hotel at the airport. I had
requested a high room on the eastern side. It is a very expensive hotel but the
restaurant is better than many airport hotels I have stayed in the USA. On
arriving in the room I found it to be south facing so I returned to reception
and they gave me a north facing room (1154) which faced the terminal. It gave
excellent views of the easterly runways and the Frontier/Delta gates with a lot
of United using the taxiway in front. Most of those landing on the westerly
runway could be logged with the use of FR. Photos were possible of a good
number of the movements.
