Access is gained by either on foot from Terminal 4 by following the signs for the Holiday Inn Express / Crown Plaza using the raised covered walkway or alternately, there is the usual hotel entrance access off the Perimeter Road. The reception area is right next to the Crown Plaza reception.
The rooms to ask for are odd number rooms on the 5th or 6th floor in the range
of "45 to "95. These rooms overlook part of Terminal 4 as well
as Terminal 2. All arrivals and departures of 27L or 27R can easily be seen.
Arrivals on 9L as well as departures from 9R are also visible. If the
weather is favourable, arrivals and departures at Northolt can also be seen .
The room rate also includes a buffet breakfast. I have previously requested a
room with a view in advance and haven't been disappointed.
